A prison escapee who hijacked a helicopter, flew into a Federal prison and spirited his lover to freedom was sentenced to 25 years in prison Friday.

The escapee, Ron McIntosh, 42 years old, landed the helicopter Nov. 5 in the yard of the Federal prison at Dublin, 45 miles east of San Francisco, and flew off with an inmate there, Samantha Lopez.

They were captured 10 days later in a Sacramento-area shopping mall while picking up a set of wedding rings.

Mr. McIntosh is ''the man that I know and that I love deeply,'' Miss Lopez told Federal District Judge Eugene Lynch in a sentencing hearing.

Judge Lynch sentenced her to five years in prison, to be added to the 50-year sentence she is serving for a 1981 bank robbery in Georgia.
